Located on the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica, the Osa Peninsula is a truly diverse area with a wide variety of plants and animals. It is famous for being home to around 2.5% of the world's total biodiversity. Our hotel is nestled in the midst of the lush jungle, providing easy access to the waves which are just a short walk away. The waves are soft mellow and peel along the point into the bay and end right in front of our hotel.

THE SURF
Nestled in the vibrant rainforest, Osa Peninsula offers a rare surfing experience with tranquil waves and stunning biodiversity. Surrounded by nature's beauty, surfers can enjoy uncrowded, mellow waves perfect for both beginners and intermediate surfers. Because the waves break far into the gulf the bay tends to offer glassy surf conditions with barley any wind. Summer months the wave height ranges from 3ft to 6ft.
YOGA
Join us at our daily yoga classes crafted specifically to address the unique needs of surfers. Our classes aim to provide rejuvenation and release to your body, tailored to restore and re-energize after a long surf session. Created by seasoned surfers, our sessions blend restorative and yin yoga to aid in healing from the physical demands of paddling and surfing.

BLUE OSA RESORT
Our secluded beachfront property is located on Costa Rica’s biologically diverse Osa Peninsula. Here you will find coconut trees, colorful wildlife and great surf for all levels–– all guaranteed to provide a tranquil setting for letting go and living the pure life. Super cute & comfortable rooms all equipped with ceiling fans, (some rooms have a/c), private bathrooms, and fit 2-3 people.

THE FOOD
Blue Osa is devoted to serving the freshest ingredients possible that are delivered daily to our kitchen. Whether it’s pineapple from the Blue Osa property or squash from the farmers down the road, all produce supports the local economy.
This is truly a “farm to table” family-style dining experience.
Inspired by Chef Marie, our vegan/vegetarian-based menu at Blue Osa is built around local produce and ingredients. Our organic garden provides much of the food that’s harvested daily and ensures that only the freshest ingredients land on your plate.
SURF COACHING
Our pillars of coaching:
Support: We believe ALL women are capable of standing up on a board. We break down the pop-up process and find a method of getting up that works for you and your body.
Encourage: Expect a lot of hooting and hollering from your coaches and your new comrades.
Empower: We can set you up for the perfect wave but when the moment comes to surf, its only you the ocean and your board.
* We welcome first time surfers as well as intermediate rippers. Surfer to instructor ratio is generally 2:1 depending on conditions and level of individual surfers.
GETTING HERE
Traveling to our Southern Costa Rica location requires an additional domestic flight from San Jose to Puerto Jimenez. Transportation on arrival and departure days is included. Contact us for details on booking your domestic flight.
